It's time for Burro Days in Fairplay and that means "Cowboy Church" at the Entertainment Gazebo in Fairplay.

Circuit ridin' preacher Jack Blease has brought his exciting brand of "Cowboy Church" to Burro Days since 1995. There will be lots of singin', preachin', praying', and fellowship. Last year's cowboy service had attendees singin' and laughin' and lovin' each other by the end of the celebration. This year's service promises to be even livelier than before. One past service even had a cowboy wedding performed on horseback after the service. Come see what happens this year.
Using classic cowboy music, poetry, stories and preaching from God's word, Jack Blease captures the spirit of the frontier ministers of the past. Jack has entertained audiences and shared his cowboy ministry across the USA and Europe, in concerts, at festivals, ranches, churches and around campfires. He has lead worship services in such diverse settings as small rural churches and at festivals such as the Western Music Association, The National Cowboy Symposium and the Cheyenne Cowboy Poetry Gathering. Jack has been part of a special performance for the Governor. Blease has entertained at ranches and celebrations around the Fairplay area, including the annual "Cowboy Christmas Ball."
Jack says "We take 'Cowboy Church' wherever people want to worship the cowboy way. Our congregations are made up of working cowboys, weekend cowboys, cowboy wanna-be's and just plain folks who love cowboy music, poetry and the history of the West. We look forward to worshiping with you at Burro Days this year."
